MetaLux is an artistically driven image rendering and photo retouching studio creating high quality imagery for print media, broadcast television and intaglio printing. Founded by Ted Blumenschein in 2013, MetaLux offers retouching and rendering services remotely as well as in house by appointment.
Ted Blumenschein
With a BFA from UC Berkeley and an MFA from New York University, Ted has been in the intaglio and photo printmaking industry since 1988 producing print editions for artists and photographers. He has been retouching digital media commercially for photographers, ad agencies and television since 1996. He works from his home art studio producing portrait paintings and prints for family, friends and clients alike.
